Body-Mind Centering® offers various tools to deepen our sense of embodiment and our understanding of movement. This work is based on exploring the developmental stages of movement and on experiencing our anatomical systems distinctly (see below). Refining our bodily awareness will help us to develop a clearer and stronger presence and to articulate each person’s unique style of expression in a more nuanced way. We will make use of the movement material in improvisations and delve into the compositional possibilities for developing performances.

Sarah Menger, Dancer, Choreographer, Body-Mind Centering®-Practitioner. She offers workshops in movement education and – therapy and performs internationally. Cooperations with
Daniel Lepkoff, Amos Hetz, Isabelle Schad, Frederic Gies amongst others. Her work is based upon her long-term practice of Spontaneous Composition, ContactImprovisation, Authentic Movement and various bodywork techniques (BMC, Gindler, Yoga, Tai Chi).

Level
For people with movement experience and an interest in performance and for professional performers (movement/dance, music, voice)

Language: German/English if needed.
