“diminuendo Nr. 1“ ist eine Performance-Installation, in der die Tänzer in einer Art Nabelschau Einblick in verschiedene Aspekte einer Darsteller-Existenz geben: - Die Einmaligkeit der Persönlichkeit mit ihrer Sensibilität, artistischen Intelligenz und sozialen Erscheinung; - seine Eingebundenheit in die spezifische Tradition und den sozialgeschichtlichen Hintergrund; - und seine Physis, sowohl im alltäglichen Gebrauch als auch in der spezifischen täglichen Arbeit an der Körpertechnik und in der künstlerischen Arbeit. Zum Vorschein kommen zwei vollkommen unterschiedliche Performertypen und Performance-Ansätze. Zufit Simon, geb. 1980 in Israel, studierte Tanz an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt/Main, arbeitete u.a. mit Ingo Reulecke, der Cobosmika Company, Sommer Ulrickson, Anja Hempel, Christoph Winkler. Bei “fabrikationen 04“ stellte sie ihr Solo “fleischlos“, bei den Tanztagen 2005 ein Duett mit Friederike Plafki vor. Ingo Reulecke arbeitet in Berlin als freier Choreograf und Tänzer und als Dozent für Choreografie und Improvisation an der Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst-Busch. Seine letzten Stücke waren “66 minutes sculptures“ in Stockholm, die interdisziplinäre Produktion “Winterrei-sen“ in Koproduktion mit Lukas Matthaei (HAU2) und “Distanz 1:02“ (HAU3). Simon und Reulecke entwickeln bereits seit einigen Jahren gemeinsame Projekte; zuletzt lag ihr Fokus auf improvisierten Performances (siehe auch “Freistil“ am 12. & 13.11.).
“diminuendo Nr. 1“ is a performance installation, in which the dancers give insight in a form of self-contemplation into the various aspects of performance existence: - The singularity of personality with its sensitivity, artistic intelligence and social profile; - his/her integration into a specific tradition and socio-historical background; - and his/her physical appearance, in everyday life as well as in the specific daily training of physical technique and in artistic work. What comes to light are two completely different types of performers and performance approaches. Zufit Simon, born 1980 in Israel, studied dance at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstel-lende Kunst in Frankfurt/Main and worked a.o. with Ingo Reulecke, the Cobosmika Company, Sommer Ulrickson, Anja Hempel, Christoph Winkler. At “fabrikationen 04“ she showed her solo “fleischlos“, at the Tanztage 2005 a duet with Friederike Plafki. Ingo Reulecke lives and works in Berlin as an independent choreographer and dancer and teaches choreography and improvisation at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst-Busch. His last pieces were “66 minutes sculptures“ in Stockholm, the interdisciplinary production “Winterreisen“ in collaboration with Lukas Matthaei (HAU2) and “Distanz 1:02“ (HAU3). Over the last few years, Simon and Reulecke have developed several projects together; most recently with a focus on improvised performances (see also “Freistil“ on the 12th & 13th November). |

Als ich nach Berlin kam, fing ich an meine Nachbarn in ihren Wohnungen zu beobachten, wie sie ihr Leben allein leben. Große Fenster öffneten die Privatheit wie Schauplätze für Voyeurismus. Einige schienen eine exhibitionistische Seite zu haben - vielleicht weil sie nicht allein sein wollten, aber nicht geduldig genug waren, ihr Leben mit jemandem zu teilen. Dies ist ein Solo über das allein Sein, das allein Leben, das allein Arbeiten. Ich entschied mich für die narzisstische Seite einer Soloproduktion und verband eine Videokamera mit einem Spiegel, was ermöglicht, die Beziehung zwischen einer Person und ihrem Spiegelbild von der privaten Ebene in einen öffentlichen Raum zu übertragen. Sílvia Pinto Coelho, Portugal, studierte Tanz und Anthropologie. Neben ihrer Arbeit an eigenen Stücken tanzte sie in Produktionen von Paulo Henrique, Francisco Camacho, Thierry Bae; in Berlin entwickelte sie zusammen mit Anka Baier und Gyuri Barkoczi das Projekt KULA; sie war Darstellerin in “B-File“ (2004) von Paulo Castro.
When I came to Berlin, I began to observe my neighbors in their apartments, living their lives alone. Large windows opened up the privacy like scenes for voyeurism. Some seemed to have an exhibitionistic side to them – maybe because they didn’t want to be alone, but weren’t patient enough to share their lives with someone else. This is a solo about being alone, living alone, working alone. I opted for the narcissistic side of solo production and connected a video camera to a mirror, which enabled me to transfer the relationship between a person and his/her mirror image from a private level into the public realm. Sílvia Pinto Coelho, Portugal, studied dance and anthropology. Besides producing her own work, she has danced in pieces by Paulo Henrique, Francisco Camacho, Thierry Bae; in Berlin, she developed the project KULA, together with Anka Baier and Gyuri Barkoczi. She also performed in “B-File“ (2004) by Paulo Castro. |
