CI36 ist ein besonderes Event, das 36 Jahre Contact Improvisation feiert. Ausgehend vom CI36 Hub bestehend aus Erica Kaufman (Koordinatorin), Ray Chung, Alicia Grayson, Martin Keogh, Scott Rodwin, Gretchen Spiro and Nancy Stark Smith am Juniata College in Central Pennsylvania, USA, finden weltweit zahlreiche CI36 Satelliten Events statt.
CI36 — a special birthday celebration commemorating 36 years of Contact Improvisation at Juniata College in central Pennsylvania, USA. As an international gathering of practitioners, teachers, students, performers, founders, and developers of the dance form CI36 will make room for the diverse populations that practice and appreciate CI: the grass-roots communities, the performing artists, the academics, the anarchists, those new to the form and the veterans.
Hosted by Juniata College (CI36 Hub: Erica Kaufman -coordinator, Ray Chung, Alicia Grayson, Martin Keogh, Scott Rodwin, Gretchen Spiro and Nancy Stark Smith) in partnership with Contact Quarterly/Contact Collaborations, CI36 will be a time to appreciate Contact Improvisation’s history, to share in current research and practice, and to consider the trajectory of the form into the future. CI36 will be linked to many CI36 Satellite Events occurring around the globe.
