BIRDS AND WIND ist eine Soloperformance. Alle Vorkommnisse auf der Bühne sind Konsequenzen eines Prozesses der durch ein Netzwerk von Erwartungen hervorgerufen wurde. Anders ausgedrückt, die Erwartungshaltung ist die von reiner Form, die jedoch eigentlich nichts erwartend; sie ist ausschließlich der machtvolle Anstifter von Sprache.
Das Projekt untersucht auf einem schmalen grad, die auf der Bühne vorgenommene Trennung von Repräsentation und Realität trennt; und spielt gleichzeitig mit theatralen Konventionen.
BIRDS AND WIND is a solo performance that seeks to annulate the representation, in the sense that all the events on stage are real consequences of a process raised by a network of expectations.
Through the expectation that the idea of performance induces in me as a performer, in the public as people who came to the theater, and in the room for having a stage, this project will research and develop itself on this thin line that on a stage separates representation from reality, playing with the theatrical conventions. The expectation here is of pure form and doesn’t actually “expect” anything, being exclusively a powerful instigator of speech.
After the English, Portuguese and French version, this piece is going to be presented at Tanzfabrik in its version in German.

L.S. Ist Portugiesische Choreographin und schreibt Theaterstücke. Sie lebt in Lisabon und Berlin. Das Stück "Birds and Wind" wurde zum ersten mal in Deutschland aufgeführt. Andere Stücke sind “At The Origins of The Crisis”, 2005 (Berlin/Lisbon); “Vital Curriculum“, 2004, (Berlin), “The Natural Disorder of Things“, 2004, Berlin, “The End And Then”, 2004, (Lisbon);“Pele”, 2001, (Lisbon). Sie erhielt ein 2008 DanceWEB Stipendium in Wien. Sie ist co-director des Cultural Association- Máquina Agradável in Lisbon.
