Simonetta Alessandri (GB/Italien), dancer, choreographer, teacher of the Feldenkrais Method®, Improvisation and Contact Improvisation. She taught in Italy for more than 20 years, kept CI alive in Rome for 10 years and taught internationally. Collaborations with companies in Italy for theatre, opera and site-specific; since 1995 own choreographies. She now teaches at the Laban Center, The Place, Goldsmith College in London.
Temujin Gill (GB) Resident Artist at Greenwich Dance, ex-Jiving Lindy Hopper and founder of Temujin Dance. Along with co-choreographer Sunanda Biswas he worked with Danny Boyle on creating the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony.
Susanne Martin ((Berlin) is an artist and researcher in the field of contemporary dance. She creates performances internationally as soloist and in collaboration with Bronja Novak (Göteborg), Gabriele Reuter (Berlin) and others. Her work focuses on the relation between improvisation and choreography, narrations of the ageing body, and contact improvisation in performance. 2013 she performed her latest solo “The Fountain of Youth” in Gothenburg, Sweden, and “Susi & Gabi’s Salon” at Nottdance Festival, Nottingham. In her current PhD research she is pondering on the role of improvisation-based dance in developing a critical position towards conceptions of ageing and the imperative of youthfulness in dance.
Rick Nodine (GB), choreographer, performer, teacher. He studied Contact Improvisation with the pioneers of the form, danced in many contexts including theatre, dance theatre, digital media, television, mixed ability, site specific, pure dance. Rick teaches Contact Improvisation, Composition and Improvisation at London Contemporary Dance School.
Gabriele Reuter ist Choreografin und Tänzerin in Berlin, London und Nottingham. Ihre Choreografien wurden auf verschiedenen internationalen Festival gezeigt. Sie hat in zahlreichen Improvisationsreihen und Formaten in England und Deutschland mitgewirkt und ist seit 2009 Ko-Kuratorin des Workshop-Programms der Tanzfabrik Berlin.
